The property was well-maintained with beautiful gardens and outdoor furniture. The fire pit was a great addition and we enjoyed sitting around it with plenty of logs. The Shepherds Hut itself was equipped to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy with luxurious sheets, and the wood burner made the hut cozy. The view of the sea was amazing and added to the overall relaxing vibe.
One minor concern was that the bed was very high, which could be a bit challenging for some guests. Additionally, there were no instructions provided for using the oven/hobs, which made it a little confusing for us.

The value for money at Rowan Shepherds Hut was truly exceptional. The room was beautifully fitted out and the attention to detail was outstanding. The location was absolutely delightful, with plenty of nearby points of interest and a stunning beach just a short walk away. The hosts, Andrew and Jeanette, were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. it was a tranquil and magical experience, especially with our own fire pit to enjoy.
The breakfast menu could benefit from the addition of a toaster. However, this small improvement suggestion does not take away from the overall wonderful experience at Rowan Shepherds Hut.

We had an amazing stay at the Rowan Shepherds Hut, with great value for our money. The room was cozy and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a kitchen stove and a hot shower. The sea view and the location near the beautiful seaside village of Coldingham were perfect. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.
Food for breakfast could have been better with a toaster available, although I understand the space might not allow for it.

Peaceful and cosy stay with beautiful views. the hut was well-equipped and comfy, with a wood burner for extra cosiness. Convenient outdoor chairs and tables for enjoying breakfast outdoors. Great location, within walking distance to the village and a fantastic cliff top walk.
The shower was a bit erratic and the toilet facilities were basic. these minor inconveniences didn't detract from the overall experience.

The view from the shepherd's hut was absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery and very little light pollution at night. the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome during our stay. the hut itself was luxurious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the en-suite bathroom was a nice touch, and the fluffy towels and fine soaps added a touch of luxury. the provision of tea, coffee, and an espresso maker with complimentary pods was a great added bonus.
The hob in the hut took quite a long time to boil the kettle, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when we were in a hurry. getting to the hut in the dark was a bit challenging, following the directions given saved us from getting lost.

We had a romantic escape in a beautiful setting with cosy and comfortable lodgings. the hut was clean and well-insulated, offering everything we needed for a decent meal. the log burner was easy to manage and made the hut very cosy. the WiFi was strong enough, allowing us to enjoy music and films. the location was ideal, with good walks nearby and a sense of stillness that made our holiday very relaxing. We loved sitting outside in the sun, enjoying the view of the sea in the skyline. the owners were very helpful and gave us a tour of the appliances upon arrival.
The height of the bed, which was quite high. Everything else, from the well-equipped kitchen to the availability of wall hooks, made our stay amazing.
